The pursuit of answers for questions have led Paulo to a career that can be roughly equally divided between applied work and theoretical research.
On the applied side, he worked in the development of credit risk models for banks in Brazil, and as a Controller Analyst for a large Brazilian pension fund. He has experience with programming languages used in data analysis, as well as with financial data services, like Bloomberg.
On the theoretical side, Paulo’s research has focused on regulation, social choice and implementation theory.
Paulo is always interested in discussing and working on topics like social choice, regulation, mechanism design and game design.
